The Sheffield Hacklab is a room in the Matilda social centre, 111 Matilda Street, Sheffield, where people can experiment with free software and recycled computers. There is wired and wireless internet access and computers running a variery of Linux distrubutions. Come along and find out what it's all about!

The Hacklab is open every Thursday evening from 6pm ish till late.

History
The Hacklab has been set up with the kit from the G8 Indymedia Lab, some initial ideas were been posted to the g8-sheffield list and there was a hack Sheffield proposal to the Matilda list.
